This particular piece is a round glass bead, cored and capped in silver. The base of the bead is dark turquoise, and the surface is intricately decorated with black line patterns. The bead was etched for a slightly matte finish.

The core is a riveted tube of sterling silver.

The bead itself is 27 mm from hole to hole and 27 mm at its widest point. And to note, these beads are solid glass, not hollow..giving substantial weight to the bead.


The hole of this bead is cored with 3/16" tubing, allowing design possibilities to be endless. You can simply thread it through a chain once, or twice, or run multiple strands of seed beads, just to name a few things I have done personally with them.

All of my beads are made by me, completely by hand. I use Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, ASK, CIM, Double Helix, and Reichenbach glass. All beads are kiln annealed to ensure strength.
