This is a new style of bicone bead I am working on. I am thrilled with the results. Half of the body of the bead is coral and the other is triton, a metallic blue/green/purple. Each side has the opposing color in a linear design on its surface. The ends are capped in the same coral and triton colors.

I especially love this bead because it illustrates the way silver glass fumes and reacts to the colors around it. The coral end (the left side) is so bright and the coral half of the body of the bead fumes to a rich deep red. Glass is so fascinating!

105 mm long, 29 mm at the widest point, 12 mm ends.

All of my beads are made by me, completely by hand. I use Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, ASK, CIM, Double Helix, and Reichenbach glass. All beads are kiln annealed to ensure strength.
